Eyelash extensions are individual strands of synthetic material made to replicate a natural eyelash. The synthetic strands are applied to each individual natural lash. Lash extensions are designed to give the illusion of thicker and longer eyelashes.

Threading is a method of hair removal. A thin thread is rolled over areas of unwanted hair, plucking the hair at the follicle level. Threading allows for precise control in shaping the hair such as your eyebrows and is more gentle on the skin than other forms of hair removal.

Most of our clients come for a lash fill between 2-4 weeks. Every person holds lashes differently depending on your skin type, lash type, and how well you take care of them.

Yes, lash extensions are safe for the natural lash if applied properly. Bizou Lash Studio uses only professional grade adhesive and all of our lash technicians are trained and certified.

Eyelash extensions are designed to create the mascara look for you so that it is not needed. Mascara and other eye makeup may break down the adhesive used on your extensions, causing them to fall out prematurely.

Avoid getting the lashes wet for the first 4-24 hours. Avoid hot steam and saunas Do not curl your extensions with a manual curler as it will break the bond between the extension and natural lash Clean your lashes daily. It is recommended to buy our lash shampoo and cleanser brush to allow proper cleaning of the eyelashes. If extensions are not cleaned daily, the oil and debris from your skin may break down the lash adhesive.

All of our appointment times are between 1.5 – 2 hours for a full set or fill. The timing of applying the eyelashes is based on numerous factors such as amount of natural lashes, type of lashes, and how well you are able to sit (opening your eyes, sitting up, using the washroom and so on may disrupt the lash technicians ability to finish the set sooner).

If you are new to our studio, your lash technician will have a consultation with you to decide on style, length, volume, and curl. If you are booking online and unsure what type of service to choose, please book the lash service closest to what you are looking for and type in the notes that you would like to confirm this during your consultation. You are welcome to bring photos with you to show your lash technician what look you desire!

It is recommended that you book an appointment to have your lashes professionally removed. We will use a professional gel remover and gently take off the lash extensions. We do not recommend pulling, rubbing, or picking at the lash extensions as this may harm your natural lashes.
